See A.R. Garcia in Foster Care Unplugged, The Stage Play 3: Together Apart this April 2023. In his latest play, Garcia advocates healing in youth foster care. Foster Care Unplugged, The Stage Play 3: Together Apart, will run for three shows at the Mark O’Donnell Theater at The Actors Fund Arts Center in Brooklyn, NY, from April 6th, 8th, and 9th, 2023!
In the care of The Schermerhorn, the Mark O’Donnell Theater is an excellent spot for all kinds of artists to showcase their work and let their creativity shine. It’s also a place for artists in Brooklyn to develop and share their talents while bringing together people from different communities.

Foster Care Unplugged, The Stage Play 3: Together Apart is a new play that sheds light on what being in foster care is like. Most of the actors in the play were foster kids at some point in their lives, so they know all too well the struggles these kids go through. But here’s the cool part – the actors are healing themselves while performing! That’s right; they’re taking care of their emotional health and well-being just by being on stage.
