"As the oldest and most renowned poetry house in New York City, The Poetry Project is a truly wonderful establishment. The readings are incredible. It's located in a beautiful old church, which also functions as a ballet studio, black theater space, and of course, as a church on Sundays."

The Tank

4.6 (358 reviews)
312 W 36th St
New York, NY 10018
"This is a great small theater. They provide free space for productions. Being so close to Penn Station made it very convenient for us, and it's also close to the Port Authority bus station. We got to see "Overland". The writing, acting, staging, and lighting were excellent. This was our first time here. We'll be looking for more performances here."
