Joy and peace are found at a great weather open mic—a simple, relaxed environment. The curators and hosts appreciate the people who come to see the features and join the open mic. And the people, in turn, find joy in the expressed appreciation of their presence. At great weather’s Spoken Word Sundays, you’ll see novice poets – who have never read their poetry aloud – read the most beautiful poetry. In addition, there are storytellers and slam poets.
