The Artist Collective’s “Anatomy of an Idea” Free Open Mic & Workshop is hosting its ANNUAL COAT DRIVE along with its monthly Open Mic & Workshop – Friday, October 2, 2015 at El Fogon Center for the Arts in the Bronx. Ibrahim Asad Siddiq’s (aka P.O.E.T) The Artist Collective Presents: “Anatomy of an Idea” – An Interactive Open Mic Where ART meets Activism and Social Change is bringing you another great opportunity to enjoy FREE ART.
EVERY 1st FRIDAY of the month at El Fogon, The Artist Collective’s “Anatomy of an Idea” Free Open Mic also offers a FREE workshop (before the Open Mic) that helps the poet prepare their poems for the Open Mic.
***Now, through October, please, participate in the COAT DRIVE! Help the less-fortunate this winter by bringing any gently-used (WASHED) and/or brand new WINTER GARMENTS (coats/sweaters (any size), gloves/hats/scarves, socks/long johns (brand new), etc. (adult and children sizes) DROP-OFF LOCATIONS, below.

It’s that time again. The Artist Collective will be collecting winter apparel to donate to the homeless & to those in need in the NYC & Westchester Area.
The Coat Drive will take place from Sept. 4, 2015 – October 31, 2015.
