Visual Art lovers looking for cultural art! Tantalizing Productions presents “The Art of Love” by Visual Artist, Poet, Author, Tamara G. Saliva of Saliva Arts – this Saturday, August 8, 2015, 7:00pm at the Mott Haven Bar & Grill in the Bronx.
Saturday, August 8, 2015, get to the Mott Haven Bar & Grill in the Bronx to check out some of the VISUAL ARTWORK of one of NYC’s hottest visual artists, Tamara G. Saliva. And enjoy an evening of spoken word poetry, good food, good drinks, good music, good vibes, and great ART. For your poetry entertainment, Tantalizing Productions is also delivering to you special guest performances by El David and Mark Anthony Vigo of poetry troupe Full Circle Ensemble NYC. For you Open Mic’ers, there will even be an Open Mic for you to share some of your magic on.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Tamara G. Saliva is a poet and painter. She is the author of the book “Blue Vein Pages” and a poetry CD titled “Letters To Diane.” She has made a yearly commitment to fund-raise and donate 900 notebooks to young kids as a motivation to “write and express themselves in a world where they feel they aren’t being heard.” Having shared the abuse she endured growing up in her book, she is passionate about helping the youth free and reclaim their voices.
Tamara also explores cultural and spiritual themes through her visual art, displaying them as elements close to her spirit. Her paintings range from a mix of tribal shapes in movement with Native and Yoruban themes to portraits of those who are dear to her.
