Axel has recited poetry at the Capicu Cultural Poetry Showcase in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the Nuyorican Poets’ Café in Manhattan, USA Shaolin Temple in Manhattan, El Fogon Center for the Arts in the Bronx, and has featured at The Dolphin Book Shop and Café in Long Island, to name a few places.
In July 2015, Axel’s story was featured in The Ridgewood Times Newspaper, The Home Reporter, and The Spectator. And he is proud to have been a part of Comite Noviembres’ Puerto Rican Book Expo for two straight years at Hostos College, Bronx, NY. He currently resides in Queens, New York.
