Capicu Culture’s popular monthly “The People’s Open Mic” series has also become a rite of passage for anyone looking to step into the realm of cultural expression in New York City as our stage and audience welcomes newcomers during every show. Each showcase attracts internationally acclaimed artists as well as up-and-coming talent. Although the Capicu Cultural Showcase is inspired by themes and artists that emerged in the Nuyorican Poetry movement, performances from diverse cultures are showcased.
