Since its inception, The Poets Settlement has fostered an inclusive environment for poets and those drawn to the genre of poetry. By looking outward to the local community of writers, Poets Settlement has established a backdrop for a wide-span of writers to bring their work to an organic and supportive audience. As the program grows, so will the responsibility to deliver accessible platforms for both poets and audience members, alike. Our perspective remains focused on the concept that poetry is a public resource, and entree is complimentary.”
