Father’s Day Gift Ideas: Attention! One and All! You are cordially invited to join BLVK HRTZ’s 2nd Annual Figure Father Gala celebration of FATHERS, THIS Thursday, June 14, 2018, 6:30pm – 9:00pm at The National Black Theater in Harlem. Presented by Carlton Allen and Latanya DeVaughn of BLVK HRTZ Production. Hosted by Marcus John. This special event encourages the strengthening of the bond between dad and his daughters and sons. And offers a day for dads and kids to get out and have fun together. **Children are FREE with an adult**
The Figure Father Gala – celebration of dad – is an event for fathers to learn new ways to spend more time together with his children. It’s a chance for fathers to connect with other fathers for support as well. This gala is an opportunity to raise funds to have other future events that sponsor outings with dads and their children; bonding nights such as: game night, gardening events, workshops, open mic, etc.. Activities are designed to encourage each father to enrich their relationships with their partner parent and with their daughters and sons. There are separate activities for children to create special artwork for Father’s Day gifts.
At the Figure Father Gala fathers will be empowered, educated, and elevated. This special gala is to inspire dads. And to instill hope and courage back into a father that may have been discouraged in pursuing a relationship with his children due to conflict or other circumstances. The Figure Father celebration of fathers will offer advice on mediation, education, resources, therapy, health and wellness, support, positivity, creative expression,… all in a safe setting.
A father child bond or connection is invaluable and cannot be replaced with any value or denomination on earth. We live in a busy ecosystem where the father child pairing does not have time to connect and heal their relationship. The father working tirelessly to take care of responsibilities often does not get a chance to nurture or heal the relations with his children. For busy daddy and fathers, the Figure Father Gala is offering a few activities that can be considered to build a relationship on a strong foundation, no matter what the age of the father and his children.
For your entertainment, this event will have poetry, music, and games (tie tying contest), raffles, movie tickets giveaway, and more! New items are, daily, being donated by the community of people who believe in supporting fathers. That’s awesome! This is going to be a spectacular event!
