MESSAGE FROM “CANVAS of WORDS”
“The Canvas of Words Tour is a traveling showcase of the Annual Canvas of Words show held in Queens. The mission of the tour is to introduce new audiences to this show, which features poets and performers whose styles range from academic, slam, spoken word theater and touch on a variety of topics.
We began the tour this year at the Bowery Poetry Club On January 25 and February 22 and plan to extend it to a myriad of venues in NYC and out of state. The tour will not only entertain but will also create a forum for poets and audience members to connect.
The lineup for this event includes Bonafide Rojas, Peggy Robles-Alvarado, Advocate of Wordz, Ngoma Hill, Roya Marsh and Meriam Rodriguez.”
