MESSAGE FROM CAPICU:
Mi gente, Love is in the air… we invite our familia and friends to join us on Friday February 10th for our first Peoples Open Mic of 2018 as we round the bend to year ELEVEN, featuring ★ Mercy Tullis-Bukhari reading selections from her upcoming book of erotic prose and poetry, Mango!
This show, as every Open Mic we have in February since 2009, is held in honor of Piri Thomas, luminary author and Afro-Boricua, who in a beautiful and selfless act of love, recited the poetry of his friend Pedro Pietri during his final recorded performance at Capicu in 2008. Punto! May they both Rest In Power.
Come lighten your hearts and show your LOVE @ Capicu!
